The famous Axminster Carpets the original factory was built in the 1930’s based on the designs of the large woolen and textiles mills of the North. As the business transitions from factory to commercial warehousing, our internal external mapping and surveys help ACL digitise their assets. This helps with the challenges of facilities management (inside and out), insurance premiums as well as providing a remote digital copy that can be used for improving H&S.

When a new client occupies a commercial space, a present condition survey is required for both parties to feel confident in the leasing arrangement. Our team conducted a Matterport internal scan and survey creating a 3D measurable copy of the space, detailing all of the condition: roof, walls and floor. This large 2,500m space was scanned in a single day, including drone images of the outside of the building. This record is kept and hosted by us on a secure cloud-based storage system which can be made public or password protected.
